Lebanon Choral Parents Organization

The Lebanon Choral Parents Organization (LCPO) is a 501(c)(3) boosters association dedicated to providing moral, financial, and volunteer support to all choir students and directors in the Lebanon City Schools (LCS). The LCS Choral Program consists of several classical choirs for students in grades 6-12, the Lebanon High School pop acapella choir, Harmony Heights, and the competitive show choir, The Lebanon Singers. LCPO welcomes all parents and students of the LCS choral program and all community members who want to support choir education and performance.

Purpose Statement: To foster music education for the students of Lebanon City Schools by providing support to the LCS choral department and choral directors, as well as, to assist by raising money and providing volunteers for special projects and unfunded needs to perpetuate a lifelong appreciation of choral music.

To enrich the student choral experience and ensure the program's long-term success, the LCPO's primary activities include:

 

  • Advocacy: Promoting the interests and events of the Lebanon City Schools' choirs and a lifelong appreciation of choral music in the school and community

  • Financial Support/Fundraising: Financing unfunded needs and raising funds to provide performance attire, equipment, adjudicated event fees, and scholarships for the district's choral students.

  • Volunteer Assistance: Organizing activity and event logistics at the school and within the community, chaperoning travel, and providing administrative services for the choral department.
